birth partner support

Finally, a workshop dedicated to the confidence, support, and preparation of the birth partner!

Why does this matter?

Having a companion you trust with you throughout labor & birth can dramatically improve your experience, bringing that feeling of comfort & safety. This supports the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of birth. Not to mention the importance of protecting the postnatal period, which will be much easier with a prepared partner!

This workshop is extensive and will leave you feeling more connected and set you up for a beautiful postpartum recovery AND a more positive birth experience.

This workshop is about 1.5 hours full of valuable information like:

πŸ’› What to expect from each phase of labor

🧑 Birth plans & advocacy

❀️ How to remain a CALM presence in the birth room

πŸ’— Positions to help the birthing woman into

πŸ’œ How oxytocin helps & how to increase its flow

πŸ’™ Bearing witness to the primal woman

πŸ–€ Protecting the postpartum mother-baby dyad

🀍 Postpartum nourishment & intimacy

P.S. - you will also receive worksheets, resources & checklists to print or download that will help get the birthing woman & the partner on the same page and open discussion about the birth and postpartum plan.

Yes, it’s a lot. And feeling prepared and confident in these areas will CHANGE the birth and postpartum experience.

When I found out I was unexpectedly pregnant for the first time, I started learning all I could about pregnancy and birth. I listened to beautiful birth stories of every kind, read a couple of eye opening books, and found instagram accounts that shared about physiological birth.

I felt ready and confident to birth my daughter!

My then partner, on the other hand, did not. It was clear he didn’t trust the birth process or my body to do what it’s designed to do. He feared birth, as most of our society does these days.

I ended up having a very, very fast labor and thankfully didn’t need much help or advocacy to get the unmedicated hospital birth I planned for!

Though, there were still moments of my labor when it was clear that my partner wasn’t prepared to hold space for me, and it hurt. It was especially evident in the postpartum period, which I was also hugely unprepared for and felt the lack of support tenfold.

So my goal is simply to spark some mutual confidence and trust between the birthing woman and her birth partner!

Anyone can sit at a birth and hold the mom’s hand, but holding her essence through the journey of labor all the way through postpartum is another story. One that begins with taking the time to sit together, learn, and discuss the dreamy, silly, hard and even scary topics.

πŸŽ‰ Which is exactly what this workshop is for! πŸŽ‰

Whether you’re expecting your new baby any day or just starting to plan your future family, this workshop is full of valuable information to help you along your journey!
